TabTrade.com - Is It Worth Opening an Account

Tab Trade — The Short Version

TabTrade opened in March 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.

The BlackBull connection matters. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to a random name you cannot trace.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.

What you can trade: FX, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform this new, that range is solid.

What You Trade On

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from the same login. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both matters. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, massive community. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people prefer it once they try it.

FIX API is available for algo traders but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That would make the platform set once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not relevant to the average person. Skip it unless you run serious volume.

How Fast Are the Fills

This is the area where this broker stands apart. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers operate at a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms at this price point have infrastructure at this level.

Safety

Now, the detail that matters. TabTrade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No CySEC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not make it safe. But inform your decision.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

Tab Trade offers a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker top up your balance. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Read the conditions before you commit.
